The JEE Exam is conducted every year in the month of April (JEE Main) & May (JEE Advanced).
The exam is also going to be conducted for more than 35,000 Engineering seats
11,100 seats in IITs
15,585 seats in NITs
Many more in various IIITs & GFTIs and other Institutes.

It actually depends on the institute in which you want to opt for aerospace engineering.
There are caste wise cut off marks to clear JEE Mains which vary every year.
This year the cut off marks were as follows :
General (OC) - 81
OBC-NCL-49
SS-32
ST-27
PWD-1

You are advised to use the filters for categories as well as the institute.

The admission is based on your AIR or category ranks which depend on your score in JEE Mains.
The opening and closing ranks vary every year for every Institute.

The admission into any of NITs is based on your AIR or category rank in JEE Mains exam.
So if you mention your rank then I may tell your possibilities.
