4 lacs is very low, drop a year only if you are confident that you will able to clear JEE next year and for that you should work hard with dedication.

Himanshu, if you will work hard definitely you will be able to fulfill your dream. One plus point of joining LPU would be you can have GATE coaching within in the campus only.

Hello Pathan,
Well, this is too early to predict the exact cut-off of the JEE Mains 2018, so wait till the exam happens, however, as per the trends from past few years the cutoff is around 90-100, and you will need around 150 marks to get any good colleges.

Hi,
No, according to JoSSA policies, if you are not having 75% or more than 75% then you are not eligible. Either, you have topped JEE Mains/Advanced.
Only one thing can happen in your account, if you are in the top 20 percentile of your board (less than 75%) then only you are eligible for a seat.

Hello Akansha,

It's not like that.
First, you need to decide whether you are going to learn by self-preparation or by joining a good coaching center.
If you have such a guidance then it would be better as they will guide in the exact way to clear JEE. T

If you are an engineering graduate then you can not enter into IITs without GATE Examination. You can enter IITs as a sponsored candidate without any entrance exams if your org has a tie up with IITs. For example DRDO, Defence services sponsor candidates for M.Tech at IITs without GATE.

Hello Dhruv,
As you want CSE in IIT then your JEE Advanced exam rank should be less than 4k as only then you can get admission in IIT for CSE branch.
