Hello Anis,
20 marks in JEE Mains can take you nowhere. Your scores are very much less to get admission in colleges which considers admission on jee main score. You should seek some private colleges where direct admission takes place.

Hello Ankit,
As per your rank, your chances are slim for getting BIT-Sindri. However, wait till the last round of counselling, you may get a lower branch there.
All the best.

Hello Yogendra,
As boards marks are not taken into consideration from this year, so for admission in any good college, you need to score well in JEE Mains. However, considering your JEE score, your chances are nil for getting any govt. college. So, figure out what went wrong and prepare well for next year.
All the best.

Yes, cutoff for SC category will be around 40 marks. So, you will qualify JEE Advanced 2017. Coming to the admission part, chances are there for you, if cutoff will go down .Wait till the last round or spot round .All the best.

First of all, I want to congratulate them.
266 is a very good score in JEE. I think she will get a rank under 500. And with this rank, she will get top 5 IITs. And your son will get a rank under 4500. With this rank, he will get new IITs very easily.

Hello Preetha,
There is no particular exam for a course in JEE Main and Advanced. The questions are from physics, chemistry and mathematics. So, if you want to get aeronautical or aerospace engineering in IITs or NITs you need to clear JEE Main or Advanced or both by answering questions from physics, chemistry and maths only.

Firstly, it may be a computerised mistake. If not, then it shows that you may get bonus marks for that question but only if you have attempted it.

Hello Kapil,
Yes, you can get some NITs like Srinagar, Meghalaya, Tripura, etc., but, you should have at least 75% marks in your board exams for that. If you don't score 75% marks, then you cannot get NITs.
Then you can try for some colleges that accept both JEE main marks and board exam marks for admission as you have a good score in JEE mains.
If you have 75% marks and if you can study in those NITs, then you can wait for JOSAA counselling. But, if you don't want them as they are not better than the top NITs, then you can go for other colleges.
