Hello Sachin!
No, there is no need to take a second drop. As I think that your score has not improved a lot by taking first drop for one year.
Actually, you have qualified JEE Mains exam as the cut off marks for SC is 32 only. So you better try the colleges that accept both JEE Main scores as well as the board exam scores. You have good score in board exams.
So, don't waste time. If you decide to take another year drop then join a good IIT coaching centre. But don't waste time.
All the best!

Hello Bibin,
The admission for Anna University and its affiliated colleges depends on your category. For every category, there is a particular cut-off marks.
PSG Institute Of Technology is one among the top 10 colleges under Anna University. And, it is very worthy to study there.
You need to have a cut off marks of atleast 190-195. Only then you may get PSG, Coimbatore.
Mention your category, so that I may help you.
All the best!

If you are crazy about going for JEE then you don't need any coaching. All you need is hard work and self-study.
You can consult your parents, your teachers and you friends too.
Good luck!

Brother, coaching institutes are just making money. The best tutor is within you. Do self-preparation because self-study is the best study. No one can teach you as you can to your own self. I too am from same department (aerospace) and could see you as a mate. Stop thinking about joining a coaching institute and clear it by yourself. Have a nice day!
