Hey Navnit,
Yes you can appear for JEE next year. If you have passed, then try writing JEE Advanced. But if you want to appear next year, take a good coaching so that the time of one year will not get wasted. And work hard to score more.
One year time is precious and you can surely get an IIT if you study and work hard. Join a good IIT coaching centre as they will guide you properly.
All the best!

Hello Balwinder,
To get admission into the private colleges like VIT University, SRM University, etc. you need to write and clear their respective entrance exams. They don't consider your JEE marks for admission.
The best private universities are:
1) BITS Pilani
2) VIT University
3) SRM University
4) Sastra University
5) Manipal University
6) Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University
7) Shiv Nadar University
8) Amity University
9) Chandigarh University
10) Lovely Professional University
These are the ones that I know and they are good for all engineering courses.
All the best!

Hello Abhinandan, the location of SRM University , Chennai (KTR campus) is on the outskirts of Chennai city. So you will have only your college for over 100-200 acres. Then, being a north Indian student you need to stay in a hostel only. So you don't have to worry about it. I don't think that they are very strict for students so you can have some freedom.
All the best!

Though NITs do not offer petroleum engineering, a lot of NITans do get placed in petroleum companies. In that respect I am quite sure that NIT Silchar (Mechanical) has a great track record. ONGC, IOCL, HPCL , BPCL , OIL have been very regular recruiters. About 15-20% of the class on an average gets placed in oil exploration companies and refineries. EE and E&I get about 5-8% students placed in such companies.

Guide-Level 15

Sorry to say but this rank is not enough to fetch any branch in top 3 NITs.
However, you may get a NIT from the Top 10 list because you have reservation.
You will definitely get admission in MANIT because reside in Madhya Pradesh, Your state quota and OBC quota will work for you to get into MANIT.
