You can go for AIEEE or there are so many universities that conducts pre-engineering tests for admission in B.Tech. Still, if you want to crack JEE then give another year but taking a year gap is not a good idea.

UPES takes majority of admission through her own exam conducted by the college fir getting admission in various course available.
Exam name is UPESEAT conducted on 13th may 2017 so you have to fill form by the official site of college and then go through exam for admission.
