Yes, candidates can directly appear for the exam without taking a mock test. Taking a mock test will help the candidates get familiar with the exam pattern, type of questions, etc. So it is recommended that the candidates take mock tests.

Yes, GUJCET is easier than JEE Main, because it focuses more on Gujarat State Board syllabus and basic concepts. The exam is board-level. On the other hand, JEE Main involves complex problems, and is based on a vast syllabus. The difficulty level in JEE main is high.

Yes, you can get admission in B.Tech at LPU with 65% in 10+2 and 71 percentile in JEE Mains.
LPU accepts students through both 10+2 scores and JEE Mains, and your scores meet the eligibility criteria for most B.Tech specializations. With 65% marks, you are already eligible, and your JEE percentile will help you either qualify directly or get a better scholarship through LPUNEST exemption (if applicable that year).

You can apply, upload documents, and book your counselling/seat. Admission will not be a problem with your scores.

Hi! Many private colleges create confusion with unclear admission criteria, hidden fees, and changing quotas. Thapar University is a genuine, accredited private university — always check eligibility, seat allocation, and fees before applying. Verify all details in writing and consult current students to avoid surprises.
