To get admission to the BE course at the BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, students are required to appear in BITSAT. As per previous years' cutoff stats, it has been analysed that the minimum scores are between 230 and 250. But with 250 marks, the chances are less of getting selected.

Well, having been a follower of the engineering college scene going on for some time in Haryana and Delhi-NCR, I feel that the “best” college really depends on the students' personality and what they precisely want to achieve after they come out of engineering.
Some students are looking for Government colleges' prestige and ROI, while some are interested in good infrastructure, exposure in the industry and specialisation in the private colleges.
There are some very good Reputed Government colleges in Haryana which are very well known among the engineering students like NIT Kurukshetra, YMCA Faridabad, DCRUST Murthal, IIIT Sonepat, MD

Yeah, if you're sitting at 80.93 percentile in JEE Main, in the General category, then you can pretty comfortably aim for admission into the Mechanical Engineering branch at Lovely Professional University… assuming you also clear the usual eligibility, like roughly 60% aggregate in 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English.
LPU typically takes JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions as well as scholarships, so that part is covered. Also, Mechanical Engineering is often considered a bit less fierce, compared to branches like CSE. So honestly, your JEE percentile looks decent for getting through there, and you might eve

LPUNEST is generally thought of as the main eligibility and scholarship test for B.Tech programs, including CSBS (Computer Science and Business Systems), at Lovely Professional University. But honestly, it is not always required in every situation , like some students with a valid JEE Main score , and sometimes even CUET scores can still get admission without appearing for LPUNEST , depending on whatever the current admission policy says. Also even when direct admission is possible, a lot of students still prefer to attempt LPUNEST, because it really helps for scholarships and can raise the chances of getting the branch they want.
