Admission: On the campus, admission to B.E./B.Tech programmes at Jayamatha Engineering College are given primarily based on TNEA scores. But applicants can also get admitted on recognised exams like CBSE 12th standard. Direct admissions without TNEA are not provided. The candidates are chosen purely based on merit and counselling and seat allotment is based on one's criteria. Hence, it is strongly advised to be related to the TNEA process for an easy admission free from hassle.

The TNEA cutoff for AVC College of Engineering generally varies depending on the programme and category. As a guideline, admissions for popular branches like Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering often require a higher cutoff. For example, past cutoffs have suggested a score above 150 (out of 200) for these branches to be competitive through the TNEA counseling process, especially in the general category. Mechanical and Civil Engineering programs may have slightly lower cutoff requirements.
For more specific and updated cutoff information, you can refer to the official TNEA website, as cutoffs may

Depending upon the seat availability and eligibility, there is institutional counseling to facilitate entry. GATE-qualified candidates get priority for scholarships and other preferences. There is also a scope for a student, who hasn't qualified under GATE, to apply to the college considering the academic performance along with an entrance examination conducted by that institute or even a state-level entrance examination. All those high demand courses, the cutoff range from around 160 to 195 marks out of 200 marks. The lower-demand courses are followed by lesser cutoffs. However, the cut off of the JEE Main for Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering is different every year, which wholly depends upon the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exam and how much of the available seats are filled. The cut off in popular branches of Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering is higher than less competitive ones. One should get a seat at SPCE through JEE Main by attaining ranks at or below the SPCE prescribed cutoff rank during counseling. Consult either the website or the GUJCET counseling portal for cutoff details on the site.
