No, a candidate will not be guaranteed admission in VIT he /she clears the VIT cut off. The admission is based on not just on the cut off, but the category in which the candidate falls, difficulty level of the examination, the number of applicants who have registered themselves for the examination and the previous year trends for the cut off as well.
