No, you cannot join Mepco Schlenk Engineering College in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu without registering for TNEA for admission to the B.Tech program. The college accepts TNEA scores for admission and candidates must appear in TNEA counseling conducted by Anna University. The selection process is based on merit in UG programs, document verification, and fee payments. The college has a single-window system and management quota, with 35% of seats filled by the management quota and 65% by the single-window system.

JEE Mains is the exam, which contains the most engineering seats of India. However, there are many other examinations like BITSAT, SRMJEEE, VITEEE, COMEDK etc. through which you can take admission in almost all engineering colleges. All the best

The JEE Advanced cutoff for a general category student is 93.2 for the year 2024. The admission cutoff is released round-wise in the form of closing ranks for all courses and categories. Those who qualify in the JEE Advanced exam are offered seats in IITs based on their course preference and JEE Advanced ranks via a common process by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

No, you can't get a government college with an 849000 rank in JEE MAINS, especially for popular branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electrical Engineering (EE). You should try for private colleges. If you have any reservations, like if you belong to SC/ST category then you can look for some GFTIs.

No, candidates cannot get admission to DTU without appearing for JEE Main as the DTU BTech counselling is done through JAC Delhi. The basic criteria for admission to BTech is appearing for JEE Mains. To get into DTU, candidates must score decent marks or at least around 220 or above marks in JEE Mains. The only way to get into DTU without appearing for JEE Main is by taking a lateral entry admission to BTech second year. In order to do this, candidates must complete a Polytechnic course of two years and then appear for an entrance exam (not JEE Main but this exam will give you entry in DTU's second year).
