As per many experts, JEE Main 2026 exam held in session 1 was the toughest in recent history.

Chemistry was the easiest subject and NCERT based. It was lengthy and tricky this year.

Maths was the toughest, and physics was also moderate to tough. Overall paper was lengthy, and candidates found it difficult to manage time and complete paper on time.

No, GATE questions are not exactly repeated. However, the concept, core, and question format may remain the same. Therefore, candidates must focus on concept-building and practice GATE PYQs as many times as possible. In addition, solve mock test paper to improve accuracy and time management.

After appearing for JEE Main exam conducted by NTA in online mode, wait for NIT Jamshedpur to release the cutoff list. If you meet the cutoff marks, you can participate in JoSAA counselling for seat allotment. Once you receive a seat, report to the institute and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat in the NIT Jamshedpur BTech program.
