Every course at Guru Kashi University has different eligibility criteria for admission purposes. 

  1. For B.tech the candidate must have done his class 12 from a recognised board. The university also accepts LEET which is a state-level lateral entry entrance test.
  2. For Mtech the candidate should have a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor of the same course. 
  3. For an MBA, the candidate must have completed his graduation from a recognized university. 
  4. For PhD, the admission is based on the entrance test. 
  5. For other UG and PG courses, admission is done according to the merit of students.

In order to get admission in Government colleges you should have the domicile of West Bengal. Other state students can apply for WBJEE Entrance Exam but they will be eligible only for the private colleges of West Bengal.

Candidates from any state of India can appear for the examination. A domicile certificate is required only to claim reservations and for government institutions. The State Domicile Certificate is applicable only to candidates who request for Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW).

VOCLET exam has five subjects namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and General Aptitude.The authority will prepare question paper from all these subjects. Total questions asked in the exam will be100 and duration of the exam is two hours. From each Physics and Chemistry subjects twenty questions will be asked. 10 questions from English and General Aptitude. Also, 40 questions from Mathematics. The medium of the exam is English and Bengali. Candidates can check the syllabus from the official website of VOCLET or from the Shiksha page.

Yes,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIIT Kota are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. Candidates can check here JEE Main 2024 dates and the schedule of all events of the examination including application form, correction, admit card, exam, answer key, and result here

Yes, you are eligible for writing WBJEE and also for getting admission in JU.

Candidates from any state of India can appear for the examination. A domicile certificate is required only to claim reservations and for government institutions.

Yes, candidates from other states can also apply for WBJEE 2023, but they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned by the WBJEEB

Yes, candidates who participated in previous rounds of WBJEE counselling will have to pay an additional fee of INR 200. For fresh registration, candidates need to pay counselling fee of INR 1,000. WBJEE counselling fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If candidates fail to pay fee before final date, they cannot register for counselling process.

Yes. Candidates will be allowed to freshly register for the mop-up round of WBJEE counselling. After the completion of the first two WBJEE counselling rounds, the candidates will be able to register for the mop-up round online. For fresh registrations, INR 1000 has to be paid. Other candidates will have to pay a fee of INR 200 online to be registered for the mop-up round. Already registered candidates will also be able to edit/modify their previously filled choices. The process has to be completed before the final date, that will be announced online by the authorities.
