I did not expect to learn such boring subjects in CSE.
Placements: I am in my 1st year, so I don't have much knowledge, but what I have heard from my seniors is that on-campus placements are not too good, but off-campus can be found. Our 4th year senior bagged a 28 LPA off campus, so it is not that you can't get good jobs, but our on-campus average is 8-10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is mid. No proper bathrooms in the hostel, broken tiles, and the geyser doesn't work. Taps are broken. No fresh paint on the walls of the hostel, and it looks messy. The food of mess is quite good compared to others, but they sometimes delay. The sports quality is good, you get a badminton court, volleyball court in front of the hostel, and can play anytime, borrowing them from the hostel itself.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality is not too good. They just come over and spill the mug up syllabus. The semester exams are quite tough, I got an 8.4 CGPA. The passing percentage is 40, including sessional and semester exams.
Other: I was fascinated by computers and their working from my early life, and always wanted to create some wonderful software through programming languages. I wish to become a good quality full-stack developer and get a package of around 20-30 LPA.

GKV Haridwar Uttarakhand College review.
Placements: About 36 percent of the students are placed in the last 5 years. Placement is very low and unpredictable here. You cannot say you will be placed in this college as placement of this college is very low, i.e., 3 LPA. Companies like IBM come to the college. Roles like software intern are offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good in the university, but the campus is too small as compared to the university. Our chancellor does want to make our GFTI's college private by their power. Classrooms are not so well furnished like other colleges. Hostel facilities are acceptable, but mess and food facilities are not acceptable because they give lauki and pumpkin curry, which is the worst in my view. I never like the food quality of my hostel. They provide medical facilities. Sports and games are also organized here.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They clear our doubts even after the class. The course is relevant and they help us with internship opportunities from other colleges like IIT Roorkee and IIT Mandi. Semester exams are moderate and easy because mostly the questions they ask are from PYQs only, so we can crack exams by studying one day before the exams. Not like toppers, but you can pass with a good CGPA.
Other: I choose this course because of the affordability and course curriculum. The teachers here help us in clearing GATE exams because they also know that they can't afford big companies to come to college, so they motivate us to crack GATE exams. I wish to make my college better, if my professors understand my words and the funds that the government gives to college, they must spend on college run by the topper students. Then only it will touch the sky. Scholarships are also not given by the college. Fests are held here in the month of December.

Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya College review.
Placements: Placement is not too high as the lowest package is 3 LPA, the average is 6 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA. Most of the students do not sit for placements as they prepare for other competitive exams like GATE, CGL, CHSL, etc. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Google, Colors Code, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Panasonic, etc. About 2–3 percent of students get internships, mostly top-notch students. Roles like system engineer and assistant software developer Intern are offered by companies like IBM.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college campus is not so authentic and good based on its category and NIRF ranking, as it is a GFTI college, but its infrastructure is not so good. Also, food quality in the hostel is a waste of money and can affect the health of a student. If you choose to live in the hostel, ask them if they don’t charge money for the mess if you don’t use mess facilities, because mess facilities are not worth the time and money. Medical facilities are there.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and approachable, always available to clear doubts. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is very relevant, focusing more on practical work than theoretical concepts. Semester exams are moderate and can be cleared by studying one day before, as most questions are from previous year papers.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study in a government college outside my state, and this college offered my branch, i.e., CSE. I wish the classrooms were improved to match top IITs and NITs. Events like the fresher’s party and sports competitions are held here. There is also a fest named JANAGANI, conducted in December and February.

GKV Haridwar, Uttarakhand - review.
Placements: The total number of students placed in my course was about 36% in the CSE branch. The remaining students were prepared for the GATE exam. The highest packages were 12 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were IBM. About 10% students crack internships from our course in the 3rd semester at IBM. Top roles, like an assistant software developer intern, were offered in the company.
Infrastructure: Facilities like wi-fi, a bus for transportation, an open gym on campus, etc., were provided. Lab facilities were also here. Hostel facilities were good because they provided all the necessary things like a chair, bed, table, mattress and an almirah. Mess and canteen facilities were good but they give repeated food items because of which I don't like the food quality here.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable as they helped us with our project work. They supported and funded us in our project. The course curriculum was very relevant and good compared to other colleges. Attendance was not compulsory here because we could bunk class without giving any kind of penalty. Exams were not so difficult because most of the questions asked were from the PYQs only. We can clear exams just by doing all the PYQs questions by heart.
Other: I chose this course because of its affordability compared to other private colleges. Also, direct admission was supported by this college based on your JEE percentile, which was why I chose this college. I wish I could change the class timing at this college because they take more than 10 lectures a week, with 5 practicals. Events like Janagani and the freshers party were held here in the months of December and February. Scholarships were not given by the college. They gave scholarships only to the home state quota students.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: About 60% of students get placed in the course based on their skills. But most students start the preparation for the GATE exam. Our college produces top rankers in the GATE exam. The highest packages are 15 LPA. The lowest one is 3 LPA, and the average package is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Colors Code, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Google. The top 10 students who scored above 8 CGPA got internship opportunities from companies and also PPOs from them. Roles like software intern and system engineer are offered first.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good, but the college is not so good, as it was made back 40-50 years ago, and they haven't renovated it till now. Instruments are also not replaced. By the way, classrooms are loaded with all the necessary items like projectors, digital boards, Wi-Fi, and speakers. Food in the canteen is good, but very bad in the hostel, as they give a limited number of vegetable dishes. Sports facilities are available in our college. We also have our own stadium named Dayanand Stadium, where national and sometimes international matches happen.
Faculty: Teachers' teaching quality is appreciable, and they are approachable too. They help us even after class. The course curriculum is relevant, as our professors motivate us to advance new technology and make projects on it. They make students industry-ready with their approach and efforts. Exams are moderate, and we can crack them just by studying during the gap days. Even students study for exams during that time only. The passing percentage is about 80%. About 20% of students fail in the digital electronics subject; that's why the passing percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because of its affordability, and the teaching style of professors is unique and extraordinary. They motivate us to choose real world applications based projects. I would like to make my campus more beautiful and advance with all the latest technology. Events are generally organized by the teachers and students. The fest happens once a year in the months of December and February. Connectivity is good with the IIT Roorkee professors and with the students too.

Hostel facilities are well-furnished with equipment like beds, tables, fans, almirahs, chairs, etc. The quality of the mess and canteen is not so impressive; it starts off well but degrades after a few months. Medical facilities are available, and there are sports facilities and a stadium.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable, as they assist us both online and offline during and after class. The teaching quality is very good.
