The key aspects to be considered when booking a slot into LPUNEST are as follows:

• Exam Date & Time: Select a slot when you are young and at full concentration. Do not use very early morning or late nights when you are not a good performer.
• Mode of Exam: Make correct decisions between online remote proctored and test-centre based (where possible). Remote mode requires a constant internet connection.
• Internet & Device Readiness: In the case of online mode, good internet, webcam, microphone, and laptop/desktop should be ensured. Avoid using mobile phones.
• Location & Environment: Choose a room that is not disturbed, well lit and has no noise. Any form of disturbance will result in disqualification or even your exam.
• Scholarship Window: The previous slots are usually well-scholarshiped. Late times can diminish opportunities of scholarships.

In case of UG (B.Tech and Integrated programs), LNMIIT provides 4 major modes of admission:

• Regular Mode Admission of Indian nationals through JEE (Main) scores. 
• DASA Mode - Applicants who are foreign nationals / OCI / CIWG.

1. M.Tech (PG Engineering)

• Admission: There are various modes of admission:
• GATE Score: Valid GATE score in subject field of relevance to discipline → merit list.
• Merit (CGPA 8.0 and above): Direct based on the qualifying degree marks.
• CUET-PG Score: According to CUET-PG valid score.
• Institute Written Test: applicants not in the foregoing category; applicants are selected through institute test + interview.

2. M.S. by Research

• Admission is provided in the areas of research (CSE, ECE, CCE):
• GATE Mode: + interview + valid GATE score + interview = admission.
• Institute Test + Interview: For candidates who lack an appropriate GATE score.

3. M.Sc. (Science PG)

Admission at M.Sc. are in three modes:

• JAM Mode: This is based on the valid JAM score.
• CUET-PG Mode: It is based on valid CUET-PG score.
• Institute Online Admission: Online interview where applicants of the institute do not have JAM or CUET-PG or are not able to meet deadlines.

Ph.D. (Doctoral)

The Ph.D. is usually awarded by way of:

• Written Entrance + Interview: Ph.D. entrance test in standard form and then an interview.
• National Fellowships Exemption: Students who have CSIR/UGC-NET/ JRF or other such fellowships can be exempted from the written test (however, interviewed).

• General placements: The college has excellent overall placement data, although branch-specific data is not clearly available.
• Aeronautical (core) placements: Media. Such core aeronautical jobs (aerospace R&D, aircraft design) are not assured by campus placements, like most private colleges.
• Jobs available: The majority of Aeronautical students are put into IT, software, operations, manufacturing, QA or a general engineering job, and not necessarily aerospace.
• Average package: Placed students will have an average package of about 3-5 LPA.
• Best packages: Premium packages sold are typically not routine or general aeronautical functions, but special or exceptional cases.
• Recruiters: Firms visiting the campus are primarily firms in IT and service-based businesses; there are occasional and few references to aviation.
• Internships: Alpine aviation ecosystem has some aviation-related internships, but it does not guarantee placements.

Reality Check: There are fewer core jobs in Aeronautical Engineering in India. It can be required that students have good projects, CAD tools (CATIA/SolidWorks), internships or advanced education (M.Tech / MS) in order to be absorbed into core aerospace firms such as HAL, DRDO, ISRO, Boeing, etc.
