A total of 202 CSE students registered for the 2022 placements. Out of these 179 students were placed with exclusive offers. The total number of offers made to the CSE department students was 665, which was the highest of all the branches. The AKGEC average package CSE is not disclosed. At Carleton University, the duration of an MEng in Data Science and Analytics is two years. The first-year tuition fee is around INR 16 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fees, students are required to pay the amount for other expenses like hostel & meals, books and supplies, insurance, etc. and the total amount of these other expenses will account to around INR 9 Lakh.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Jamshedpur has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 22174. In 2023, it decreased to 20752. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from
27422 to 7158 for OBC
84025 to 3974 for SC
1529 to 1768 for ST
24612 to 3329 for EWS
1322 to 773 for PWD
This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

NIT Jamshedpur will release 7-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

The JEE Main score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 18054 and closing rank was 20752 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 27093 and 29194. Admission to Electrical Engineering in NIT Jamshedpur is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
