The year 2023 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at IIT Dhanbad (ISM) other than General category are 2938 for OBC, 1589 for SC, 638 for ST, 1136 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2023, cut off was 3258 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM). For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 5862 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, the opening rank was 11895 and closing rank was 14058. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 3072 and 19471. Admission to BTech in Civil Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM) is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Yes, it is totally worth it, as you would be called in Vellore for placements where you would be getting an equivalent chance as a student of VIT, Vellore will get. COMEDK colleges for CSE better than VIT Bhopal CSE for rank 12.5k.

For 2022 admissions, the cut off was 52952 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech (Hons) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in NIT Jamshedpur. For the female candidates in general category under All India quota, 69621 was the closing rank BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. Your calculated rank will be somewhere around, 40000 to 5000 that is too high for any NIT or IIIT. You need a minimum of 99 percentile if you are aiming for CSE as it is the most sought after branch in the engineering and therefore have very high cutoffs, under 5-10k.

The authorities will not issue any JEXPO admit card as the exam has been discontinued. Admissions are now based on a merit list prepared on the basis of the qualifying exam.
