Candidates were able to select their preferred choice of MET 2023 exam centre while filling out the online application form. However, during the MET 2023 slot booking, the candidates were able to select their choice of exam centre. Based on the choice of exam centre, the available MET 2023 slots were provided and the candidates were able to select their preference. Once the exam centre was allotted, the authorities did not accept any request to change it. Therefore, the candidates were advised to be very careful while selecting their choice of exam city and centre. The allotted exam centre details will be available on the MET 2023 admit card.

Each KEAM question paper will have 4 versions as detailed below: Paper I Physics & Chemistry Versions - A1, A2, A3 & A4, and Paper II - Mathematics Versions - B1, B2, B3 & B4 Version means every question paper will have 4 versions. Each version of the question paper will differ from one another in some aspects like arrangement of questions, changes in data in the questions asked, etc. The question paper version will be printed on the top left margin of the facing sheet of the question paper. On receipt of the question paper the candidate should ensure that the Version Code printed in the Admit Card and in the question paper are the same.

However, since 2024 when the KEAM exam transitioned to a computer based test format, the versions of KEAM question papers are no more applicable.

CEE Kerala releases the KEAM question papers along with answer keys every year after the exam. Therefore candidates can download the KEAM previous year question papers from the official website of CEE. KEAM previous year question papers are beneficial for candidates whilst their exam preparation. Moreover, while practising KEAM question papers, candidates can also get an idea of the kind of questions to expect in the exam. It gives the test-takers an understanding of the KEAM exam pattern. Attempting KEAM previous year question papers will help exam aspirants to better their speed and accuracy. It also helps to improve time management skills. KEAM exam pattern has been revised from 2024 onwards. KEAM is now held in computer-based test mode and there is one paper with three sections (maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. The KEAM entrance exam for engineering courses consists of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions and Chemistry having 30 questions. Candidates get 180 minutes to complete the exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM BPharm ONLY, the entrance exam has 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer fetches candidates four marks, while every incorrect answer results in a deduction of one mark.

There is no paper 1 or paper 2 in KEAM anymore. As per the revised KEAM exam pattern to be followed from 2024 onwards, KEAM will not have two papers anymore. There will be one paper. The KEAM engineering candidates have to attempt a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions and Chemistry will have 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. For KEAM BPharm ONLY candidates, the Entrance Examination will have a total of 75 questions; 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes. For each correct response, candidates will be awarded FOUR marks, and for each incorrect response, ONE mark will be deducted.
