Meet the Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have completed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or B.Sc. With a minimum of 60% marks in PCM Physics Chemistry and Mathematics). Application: You can apply for admission to the lateral entry B.Tech programme at UPES by visiting the official website of the university and filling out the online application form. Please note that the fees may vary from year to year and depend on various factors such as the chosen specialisation, mode of admission, and other facilities availed. For the B.Sc. Programme, the approximate fee for the three-year course at UPES was in the range of INR 2.5 Lacs to INR 3.5 Lacs per year. This fee is inclusive of tuition fees, examination fees, and other academic charges. GSFC University is recognised under the Gujarat Private University (Second Amendment) ACT 2014 and is established by the GSFC Education Society - an initiative of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. School of Technology in line with the strong Vision of University ensures to implement the learner centric Education 4.0 model wherein emphasize is given to competency-based lifelong learning to develop the Industry 4.0 ready Engineering Graduates. Being the new University, The placement aspect of GSFC University is not satisfactory and only 28 students of Mechanical and chemical get placed out of 167 for the batch pass out in the year 2019. So prefer to take some other options in your surroundings before taking admission here.

UPES have two pathways for B.Tech admission as given below.
1. Non exam pathway:
Board Merit: Minimum 80% marks in Class X, XII and minimum 80% aggregate in PCM/B & JEE Main cut-off Rank to be announced (on UPES website) after the declaration of JEE Main 2023 results)
SAT Cut off - 50 percentile
2. Exam pathway UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria- Minimum 50% Marks in Class X and XII. Minimum 50 % in PCM (Physics/Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class XII. (School of Advanced Engineering/ School of Computer Science)
So from above if you have 80% marks in 10&12th and 80% in PCM in 12th, than can be eligible for Non exam pathway. Otherwise apply for UPESEAT exam for admission here. The last date to apply is 31st May 2023.
