IMU CET 2023 application form will be available online at the official website of the IMU CET. IMU CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Admission to Bachelor of Technology (Marine Engineering): Applicants should have completed three years of Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 55 percent from a recognized Institute and 50 percent marks in English subject in Class 10, Class 12, Diploma examination. Applicants should have completed the three Diplomas.
Applicant should have completed 4 years of Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from a recognized Institute and 50 percent marks in English subjects in Class 10, Class 12, Diploma examination.
Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Admission to Bachelor of Technology in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering:
For admission to the second year:
The age of applicants should be between 18 to 26 years.
Applicants should have completed a Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of Ship Building Technology, Goa, or a Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the AMET University, Chennai, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering from any Institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Applicants should have completed the Diploma within the stipulated time.
Applicants will get admission based on marks obtained by them.
For admission to the third year:
Applicants should have completed a Bachelor of Science (Ship Building & Repair) with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate.
Applicants have completed the degree in the stipulated period of three years.
Applicants will get admission based on the percentage of marks secured them.
The age of the applicants should be between 19 to 27 years.
Age Limit: Applicant's age should be in between 17 years to 25 Years. Applicants belonging to the SC and ST categories will get a relaxation of 5 years.
Medical Eligibility: At the time of admission, applicants will be required to produce a certificate of medical fitness issued by doctors approved by the Directorate General of Shipping.
Physical Fitness: Candidates Must be medically fit including hearing and eyesight as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping Rules, 2000, as amended.
