VIT conducts its own entrance examination called VITEEE for admission to its B.Tech programs. It is mandatory for candidates to appear for VITEEE to be considered for admission into the B.Tech programme at VIT. Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management or GITAM in short gives admissions based primarily on the admission test conducted by this deemed to be university called GAT. VITEEE is conducted as a computer-based test at different exam cities. The question paper will have a total of 125 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude and English. The students will have to complete the exam within 2 hours and 30 minutes. If we break the questions section-wise, then Physics and Chemistry will have 35 questions each, Aptitude will have 10 questions and English will have 5 questions. However, Maths will have 40 questions. Every correct answer will be given one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
