WBJEEB commenced the WBJEE counselling 2023 on July 20. The official WBJEE 2023 counselling dates have been announced. The authorities conducted two rounds of WBJEE counselling along with a mop-up round. Through the counselling process, the qualified candidates were able to select their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preference. Seat allotment was done based on the candidate's preferences, rank and seat availability.

WBJEE GMR is the General Merit List released by WBJEEB for admission to all the courses available in all enlisted Engineering and Technology Colleges and Universities within the state of West Bengal. The list will be prepared based on the candidate scores obtained in all the subjects (i.e. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) in WBJEE 2025. Ranking in the GMR WBJEE merit list will be prepared in descending order of total marks scored in all the subjects as stated above. However, there may also be ties and in such cases, the tie breaking rule shall be applicable for determining the merit rank.

The official WBJEE 2023 syllabus is available online at wbjeeb.nic.in. The details regarding the topics to be studied from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics are available in the syllabus. WBJEE 2023 syllabus is similar to the 11th and 12th standard syllabi. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the syllabus before starting their preparation for WBJEE. Through the syllabus, the candidates will be able to understand which topics have to be prepared for the examination and to have a higher chance of securing good marks in the examination.
