Passed Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subject with a minimum 60 percent average) or equivalent. Obtained 50 percent aggregate in English subjects in Class 10 and Class 12.
Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe students will get a relaxation of 5 percent but it is not applicable to the English marks.

Candidates should secure more than 90 percentiles to get admission to IIT Bhubaneswar for all undergraduate (UG) courses. In terms of ranks, students should get a rank below 2,500 in order to secure a seat at IIT Bhubaneswar. JoSAA has released the final cut-off rank for 2023 for all the UG courses offered at IIT Bhubaneswar. In Round 6, BTech CSE was the top course with the highest rank of 3101. Candidates can check the JoSAA 2023 R6 closing ranks (CRs) on JoSAA's official website.
