Prepare a simple time table giving time to all 3 subjects. Divide time accordingly to subjects. Give more time to those subjects which you do not have interest and try to create interest in those subjects. In your daily studies, set targets like what you want to complete each day. Your timetable should provide flexibility if any subject or topic requires more time than allotted. Make sure you study all the subjects every day. If you are not in mood to read theory of Physics then solve some problems to keep a pace with the subject. If you are less interested in the subject you are studying, then first complete easier chapters and solve problems from them to gain the confidence for learning the difficult chapters. Consistency is the key. Instead of studying all night one day and sleeping on the next day, it is better to study for equal hours on both days.

Find a Mathematics mentor. Join online tests series. Build your Concepts. Logical Thinking while solving questions. Learn a graphical approach in solving problems because it is less time consuming and is beneficial. Master the formulas and derivations. First of all, understand the JEE Mains exam pattern. Knowledge of JEE Mains exam pattern will help you understand the exam mode, marking scheme, syllabus, time duration, weightage etc. In addition, you will get to know the most important topics and will plan your studies accordingly. Going very deep in low weightage topics is not essential, but the minimum level of preparation should be moderate, so try to cover every topic.

JEE Main 2023 Mathematics paper or section will have two types of questions I. e. MCQ and Numeric value. The MCQs will have 4 options with only 1 correct option or answer. The Non-MCQs or Numeric Value questions will have numerical value as an answer that candidates will have to enter as an integer or decimal value.
4 Marks will be awarded to correct answers and 1 Mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. In the case of Non-MCQ questions, no negative marking will be there. Total Number of Questions: There will be a total of 30 questions in JEE Main Mathematics section. Out of 30 questions, there will be 20 MCQs, and the remaining 10 questions will be Non-MCQs with numerical value as an answer. Formula Based Questions: In JEE Main Mathematics paper some of the questions will be directly based on formulas. To solve these questions knowledge of formulas is very important. By applying the formula candidates can get the right answer. Such questions may not require lengthy calculations and can be easily & quickly.
