Hello,
Absolutely, you have a good chance to get decent NIT with this marks. According to your marks. You can expect your category rank around 1000-1200. Which is enough for getting core as well as non core branches. You can get core branches like mechanical, electrical in some of top NITs like MNIT Allahabad, NITK and NITR. However, getting non core branch in above college is pretty difficult. Getting non core branches like CS IT is easier in some of good NITs like MNIT Jaipur, NIT KKR, NIT j, NIT Jalandhar, SVNIT and NIT Rajpur. Hello,
Usually, the 80-90 Percentile in JEE Main 2023 is close to the 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 rank in JEE Main. That means a candidate with an 80-90 percentile in JEE Main has a chance to get admission to NITs and IIITs for B.Tech courses.

There is tentative qualifying marks for GENERAL category common rank list students is 89.75 for general, EWS category is 78.21 for OBC -NCL IS 74.31 for SC is 54,44 for ST 0.11371730 for PWD candidates.

78percentile is too low to get any of the NITs. You can apply to state engineering colleges of your home state through state counselling. You may get that. Hope this was helpful.
