There are 2 criteria for NITs, IIITs, IITs, and GFTIs. First: You need to have at least 75% in your respective board exam. Second: You need to meet the top 20 percentile criteria. If you meet any one of these criteria, you are eligible. Now the Question arises What is the top 20% percentile? The top 20 percentile means you must be in the top 20% scorer in your board exam. Now next question arises how will you know whether you are in the top 20% of your board? Go to the NTA official website you will find the syllabus over there. There won't be much of the syllabus change. Syllabus covers the entire portion of 11th and 12th NCERT textbooks of Physics Chemistry and mathematics.
