There's a large majority of students who get a placement with a starting package of 10lpa. This year most startups that have come for recruitment have offered upward of 9 to 10LPA. Needless to say, that if you're a CSE student and know your basics well, have a good ability to reason and make algorithms then there's no reason to worry about placements.

You need to score atleast 99.70+ percentile in MHT CET to get CSE stream at VJTI Mumbai. So focus more and study in smart and disciplined way. Always remember (Revision is the key of success). Solve maximum number of sample paper to check your accuracy. Maintain high level of preparation. There is enough time left for MHT CET. So, all the best.

Cut off marks for admission to a diploma varies from one state to another state and also for different category of persons based on caste. In general, with special reference to Tamil nadu State ,I can give the MAX-MIN cut off for different category.However, this may vary slightly upwards/downwards.

No, not at all. But, there is another catch. Adding Mathematics is not a prerequisite in calculating the best of 4, however, you must have studied the subject in 12. Best of 4 must include a language i.e. English and three other high scoring subjects. Additional information You mentioned you are opting B.A. Eco Hons, so if you do not add Economics as a subject in your best of 4, you attract a penalty of 2300 from your overall BO4.

Yes bro, you are eligible. You can make the EWS Certificate wisely by not telling them that you have any OBC Certificate, and you have to simply provide all the required documents for EWS, then collect it after 14 days.

Hi, I personally know two people who graduated this year from ECE , dual degree from Eshan College of Engineering.
One of them is placed in Oracle of package 6.8 lpa and other one is placed in NCR of package 6 lpa. Might be others also placed in good companies.

IIIT sricity and NIT So are both new infrastructure and IIIT sricity mentored by IIT HYDERABAD, NIT Andhra Pradesh mentor by NIT Warangal. Both have decent placements. IIIT sricity fee is very high compared with NIT Andhra Pradesh. Fee waiver is not applicable in IIIT where as NITs fee waiver remission is available. Course wise CSE is more demanding than ECE at present. But ECE is double edged and 2016 it is top priority to the most aspirants. Studying I. T. in my first year in a college in Pune, I keep track of the placements every year. The placements in my college for both CS and I. T. are believed to be the best in the city and no company which comes to our campus has any criteria which says that only CS students are allowed to appear for their aptitude tests and subsequent interviews. Also, if I. T. students have as much or more knowledge and expertise in programming and software development than CS students, I don't see any reason to distinguish between the two branches. This is a preconceived notion which needs to be removed.
