As your JEE Mains rank is under 65,000 in general category, it is very tough, to get admission in top NIT and pursue B.Tech from it, so you should prepare for it again. But if your aim is just to get admission in NIT no matter which NIT and which branch, then you msy get admission in it. Like you may get NIT Agartala, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Goa, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Mizoram, but not any branch, some branch like chemical engineering, civil engineering, And if your domicile of state of these NIT, then you will get it, otherwise there is tough to get it.

The admission process of NITs is done through JEE Main counselling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates shortlisted for the counselling process on the basis of merit list are required to register online in order to participate in the process. I regret to inform you Sai, that for this year from September to December 2022 there is no engineering entrance exam going to be held, since most (99%) of the exams are held from the month of January to August. So, there is no engineering exam this year but there are lots of exams for the year 2023 coming up. So, you might prepare for them to get a good college. Best of luck for your future. Hope your query is resolved.
