Getting admission in NIT or IIIT is not so easy, it is dream of many students in India, they start preparation from class 11 to get it, even many students prepare after 12th to get admission in NIT or IIIT
The admission process of NITs is done through JEE Main counselling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates shortlisted for the counselling process on the basis of merit list are required to register online in order to participate in the process. To get admission in it, you would have to start preparing for JEE Mains as soon as possible, and have to score a very good rank in it then register for jossa counselling. If you are from General category, then you have to achieve very good rank to get mechanical engineering it top NIT and IIIT, if you are from SC ST category, then it is not necessary to get god rank in JEE Mains, you can get it even if your rank is under 1,50,000.

There are two way to get admission in B.Tech CSE in this college, one is through direct admission, which is possible if you have good marks in your 12th, and they will also conduct a seperate test for direct admission
The other way is through counseling conduct by UPTAC every year based on JEE Mains score, there is no seperate test for this counselling, and you have to achieve good rank in JEE Mains to get B.Tech CSE. JUET GUANA is a private University under UGC
Both college are good, but JUET has more fees than GL Bajaj
Both colleges have good placement record for CSE branch, there may be some difference in placement of core branches in core companies.

As you have completed Diploma, you can also pursue B.Tech in regular mode rather than distance mode from best India's college like IIT government University central university private universities, as this type of degree has more value and also more chances to get job than distance type
IGNOU conducts admissions for B.Tech distance in two cycles January and July. Check website to stay updated about the July admission details for B.Tech course from IGNOU. You can apply for the course till the last date as based on IGNOU guidelines. The course fee of the whole B.Tech. Course at IGNOU is INR 20, 000. However, the fees may vary from specialisation to specialisation.
