Since you are from a reserved category with 80+ percentile you can easily get any good NIT'S like, Goa, hamirpur, NIT trichy etc. Whether old NIT'S or new NIT'S with your preference of branch being core (civil or mechanical ), you can definitely get admission in any course. Hope your query is resolved. Best of luck for your future.

To get admission in government Engineering institute you need to achieve good rank in JEE Mains or CUET
Example HBTU Kanpur takes admission on basis of JEE Mains
NIT, IIIT also takes admission on basis of JEE Mains
Almost every central university, government University, takes admission on basis on basis of CUET
Every government institute is good to pursue B.Tech in CSE, as top MNC comes in central university like JMI to recruit CSE students
Some government institute :-
JAMIA MILIA ISLAMIA
ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY OF ALLAHBAD
DAYALABH UNIVERSITY
BANASTHALI VIDYAPEETH
BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY
HARCOURT BUTLER TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
MADAN MOHAN MALVI

From analysing your rank and I assume that you are from general category, so you make might not get IIT's, NIT's or IIIT's but you can definitely go for got NIRF ranking private college since placements in these colleges is pretty decent these days and if you are lucky then you might get a core branch ( E. C. E, E. E, Civil, Mechanical, etc. ) in a good government college as well. Best of luck for your future. Hope your query is resolved.

Like NIT Nagpur is also among top NITs and you can get CIVIL, CHEMICAL, MECH in it. But since your rank is Good enough you can go for Higher Branches in mediocre NITs like NIT JAMSHEDPUR, NIT RAIPUR, NIT PATNA,. You can also check for IIITGwalior for Dual Degree. I know by the time of answering JoSAA choices has been locked but you can analyse and If needed you can go for CSAB in which only AIR is considered. No preference based on any category. Hope it helps if then please upvote it.
