As per my understanding, In India, Bachelor of Technology degree is a professional engineering undergraduate degree awarded after completion of four years of academic study in engineering field. It is offered in many disciplines. Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institute of Technology (NITs) are the top public institutions that offers engineering courses. There are 23 IITs and 31 NITs situated across the country. If you want to pursue B.Tech from these colleges then you have to appear the engineering entrance exams.
