Hi, just want to let you know that 78 percentile is actually not bad for AJEE rank. You will manage to secure a seat in an engineering college (probably not CS or IT) but in another stream for sure.

Make sure that you are an OBC-NCL candidate not only OBC, then based on your percentile which you are saying, your chances of getting admission in NITs are good but still you have to wait for few rounds.

Yes sure you can get NIT college but you have to compromise with college and branch here I listed to the college where you have the chance to take admission I am considering to you that you have interest in all branches not specially chemical

With percentile 93.61, your CML rank would be around 300 400. Since my percentile score was 94.63 my CML was 278 and I got information technology with general category though I belong to BC category. So with percentile, more than 90 would have a better choices for different branches.

Yes, there are chances of you getting into the prestigious college IET Lucknow. It is definitely the best that AKTU offers.
