Hello Eden, you are presently in the second year of your diploma course. Lateral admissions are giving to those students who have completed their diploma course. You will be eligible to seek admission in the lateral mode next year, when you will be completing third and final year of your diploma course. In the meanwhile, I would like to advise you to study well in your diploma since admissions under lateral mode are based on the marks obtained in diploma.

Hello Kamlesh Agrahari, KIIT, Bhuvaneshwar has a really good reputation and I feel that if you are getting admission here, you should take it straight away without wasting time. Their placements are reported to be over 90% which is really great. Though fees appear to be on the higher side, but good academics perhaps will require higher fees. Hello buddy, Being a non Science student if you don't know basics of computer Science and programming languages you might find it difficult to cope up with the course. But if you take some and try to learn some basics of c and c+ then it won't be so difficult. Then about colleges I would suggest you to join any college which you wanna join because for BCA let it be any college or university the fee structure would not exceed more than 2 Lacs for 3 years. You can do MCA after B.Sc computer science. MCA is a 3 year postgraduate degree and it will provide you exposure to many subjects of computer. It is good to do MCA after bsc because only the bsc degree will not give you a better job. There is always an ample opportunity for master students rather than graduate student.
I would suggest you to choose a university that caters your all round development and provides complete placement and internship assistance.

If you will get a good MCA college after B.Sc. Then your chances of placement will be higher and focus on getting into a reputed college. After MCA if you want to go for teaching job then again your post graduation can help and soon you can go for Ph.D. also. IT market has good paying jobs so you.
