No, CAT is not compulsory for admission to the MBA course at IMU Kochi. Candidates with scores in IMU CET/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT can get admission to MBA programmes. Therefore, CAT is one of the accepted entrance exams for admission to the MBA course. However, it is not compulsory. Moreover, IMU Kochi gives more preference to students who have achieved valid scores in IMU CET rather than CAT, MAT, and CMAT. 

You may get into Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research without appearing for the entrance exam, given that you apply only for the courses to which admission is merit-based. However, for admission to the engineering course, students must have appeared for the accepted entrance test (JEE Mains/ MHCET).

Yes, ITM Institute of Hotel Management, Oshiwara admissions are merit-based. Hence, candidates do not require passing an entrance exam for admission. The institute considers Class 12 marks for UG courses and Class 10 scores for diploma. Selected candidates have to further pass the personal interview round for admission.

A percentile of 59 will not be enough to get you seat in NIT. However if you are from a state which accepts JEE Mains as entrance exam for engineering colleges of that state then it's a different story. You will definitely get seat. Indian Maritime University offers courses in Marine engineering etc. After passing of this course the student then can join merchant shipping. The basic eligibility criteria for appearing or applying for the common entrance test conducted by this IMU is passing of wealth with an aggregate of 60% marks in PCM and 50% marks in English. As you have obtain 50% marks in PCM at first class it appears that you are not eligible to appear for the IMU CET. 

CAT 2025 exam will be conducted on November 30, 2025. Official announcement of the CAT exam date 2025 has been made in July 27, 2025, along with the release of the official notification of CAT 2025. The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November. The exam is conducted on a single day in three slots.

Along with the exam date, the CAT 2025 notification carries CAT registration and admit card dates. CAT 2025 registration will from August 1, 2025 and the form submission window will close on September 13, 2025.
