Both qualify you for UPSC Civil Services. BA graduates - especially those with Political Science, History, or Sociology - have a natural overlap with the UPSC syllabus and can start preparation earlier. LLB graduates also appear for UPSC but spend more years in college first. If UPSC is your primary goal, starting with BA is often more efficient.

No, Amrita Law Admission Test is not compulsory for BA LLB admission in Amrita International School of Law. If you have a valid score in CLAT exam or AILET exam, then you may submit it for admission.

Yes, you can join Amrita International School of Law without CLAT exam. If you have a valid AILET score, you can submit it for BA LLB admission. Otherwise, you can appear for Amrita Law Admission Test (AmLAT).

Both the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. Andhra Pradesh LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. Aspirants need to pass entrance exam only for BFA course of MIT School of Fine Arts & Applied Arts. Candidates must have PERA CET or MAH-AAC-CET scores for admission. For MFA and certificate courses, aspirants have to directly come for personal interview and portfolio review round.

Admission to 5 year BA LLB Hons programme at Amrita International School of Law is based on Amrita Law Admission Test. Alternatively candidates can get admission by providing valid scores from national level exams specifically CLAT or AILET.
