Since I scored 80 percentile in Maharashtra CET, getting admission into Symbiosis International University might be difficult because the university sets its cutoffs usually on a higher side for programs like BBA or B.Tech. SIU generally accepts scores from entrance exams conducted by them itself. SET is the entrance exam taken for undergraduate programs by Symbiosis International University. Being on rank 2811 of JEE Mains under the PWD category will get you a sure seat in one of the National Institutes of Technology. Cutoffs may vary from NIT to NIT, and branch to branch; however, the cutoff under PWD is generally softer than others. For top NITs, such as NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal, for example, it may become competitive in branches like computer Science or electronics. So, you might get admission in other NITs or in less competitive branches. The best will be to check the cutoff trends for specific NITs and branches.

You can gain admission into computer Science courses from some of the less recognised or relatively new engineering colleges of Telangana if you attain a TS EAMCET rank of 117,892. If you don't get into JNTU Hyderabad or Osmania University, which are at a higher rung, you would be getting into some good private and government-affiliated institutions where the cutoff is on the lower side.
