The difficulty of the WGSHA entrance exams are dependant upon several factors such as the choice of programme, course level, preparations of the candidate, etc. For example: UG courses at WGSHA are require candidates to appear for the Manipal Entrance Test which includes topics that range from General Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, and English Proficiency.

Yes, to get enrolled in the undergraduate engineering (BTech) courses at Parul University, applicants are required to appear for the entrance exam and must have passed it with a decent score. The university accepts valid scores from the GUJCET entrance exam, which is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) for the selection of candidates for the BTech course. GATE exam duration is three hours. It will be conducted in two shift timings. GATE exam slot timings are-

  • Forenoon - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Afternoon - 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

The GATE 2026 exam pattern of Life Sciences (XL) is as follows -

  • General aptitude  - 15 marks
  • B1 section (reasoning and comprehension) carries 16 questions of 25 marks
  • Optional section from C1 to C6 carries 39 questions of 60 marks. 

Candidates must go through the GATE pattern and marking scheme before attempting the questions.

Admission process for BTech at IIIT Allahabad is entrance based with the college accepting JEE Main score. The college doesn't merit based admission to the course. Based on their JEE Main rank, interested candidates are allotted seats when they attend JoSAA Counselling process. Hereafter, vacant seats are filled with CSAB counselling process.

The GATE paper code of Engineering Sciences is XE. This year, IIT Guwahati has introduced a new sectional paper under XE, naming Energy Science (XE-I). The optional section (where the applicant has to choose any two) carries 70 marks. The GATE optional sections are as follows -

There is no limit to attempt questions. Candidates can answer as many questions as they can out of 65 questions. However, they must note that GATE offers negative marking to incorrect responses.
