No, CAT scores are not compulsory for admission to the MBA course at IA School of Management Studies. There are several other entrance exams accepted by the college, such as PGCET, KMAT, MAT, CAT and XAT. Thus, CAT is one of the accepted entrance exams for admission to MBA courses. Yes, evidence of proficiency in English is needed for admission. Students usually present a score in IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo. For bachelor's degree, 6.0 in IELTS is sufficient, and for postgraduate, it typically requires 6.5 overall. If you studied in the medium of English or you're from an English-speaking country, you may claim a waiver, which must be sanctioned.

Yes, the PTE test centres differ largely in terms of slot availability and the frequency with which the exams are conducted. Larger centres in metro cities offer multiple daily slots (sometimes all 5 slots: from 8:00 AM to 7:15 PM), whereas tier 2 cities may have fewer slots available per week.

Yes, stress caused from travel, crowding, poor infrastructure, or technical issues at a centre may impact your concentration and hence, your PTE scores. For this and multiple other reasons, Pearson recommends that each test taker must arrive at the centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled test time.
However, if your test centre is located in another city, then you must plan your travel to the city on the day prior to your PTE exam day.
