Students who have passed Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination can pursue the B.Des course.
Moreover, there is no restriction of stream at 10+2 level therefore; students can pursue the course irrespective of streams i.e. Science, Commerce, Arts and Humanities.
The age limit for admission to B.Des courses is minimum 19 or 20 years as specified by the institutes at the time of admission.

Assume you must be nervous, being in an entirely different field how you would catch-up without any basic knowledge. If so, then I would suggest to go for a post graduation programme than Diploma, where you get to cover all the basics in first semester. Speaking of courses, I would suggest fashion design, fashion styling or textile design due to lots of demand. Fashion design covers all different sections and has lots of flexibility in career, where you could be an illustrator, stylist, designer, visual merchandiser and many more. Design Fashion is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU NEST. You can apply for an entrance test NEST from this link- https://nest.lpu.in/design/index.php
Last date to apply is 31st March 2019. We provide the scholarship as well on the basis of your 12th percentage if you score 80% or above or on the basis of NEST. To know more about fee and scholarship details please visit this link- https://nest.lpu.in/design/fee-and-scholarship.php.
