EligibilityCriteria. Any 10+2 certificate holder, not more than 23 years of age and who has at least 50%marks in aggregate, is eligible for UG in fashion designing courses. So, it's simple, if you have a good hand in drawing and a creative mind, you can definitely go for this course through any stream.

Right after 10th, students are not eligible to pursue Bachelors Degree courses. This means that there are only two choices available in front of 10th passed students-

As you can see, right after 10th, you won't have much choices when it comes to courses. Also, most of the reputed fashion technology and design institutes have 10+2 as the minimum educational qualification required to secure an admission. After completing your 12th standard board examination, you will become eligible to pursue even better courses, such as- BFT (Bachelor of Fashion Technology), Bachelor of Fashion Communication, Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Fashion Merchandising etc. These Bachelors Degree programs are much more valuable than the Diploma and Certificate programs.
