Hi Vandana,
I hope you have visited www.icat.ac.in which contains the detailed three year program content of B.A. (Hons) Fashion Design. Suppose, you have not visited, then please visit http://www.icat.ac.in/ug-fashion-design-degree-course.asp. Almost every important information is available here. Even if I try to write some information here, it would be a copy and paste from the detailed info available in the website. But as of now, the seat availability is very low at the college. Suppose you are interested to take up admission, I recommend you to talk to the campus of your choice (Chennai or Bangalore) and find out the seat availabi

If you have passed class 12 then:
You could take up certificate courses (6 months-1 year), diploma (1 year-2 years) or degree programme (3 years-5 years). Degree programmes might require you to take entrance exams of respective universities and prepare a portfolio.
Courses in fashion design are available in areas such as accessory and jewellery designing, modelling, garment designing, leather designing, interior designing, textil

London School of Design is very good. Most of the top international designers of Europe are from there and this college gives its student the industry exposure of all major events organised in Paris, Italy and Milan like Primavision, Paris, London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and many more.

You have to appear for the entrance exam of the relevant college. The entrance cut off is tough so I would suggest taking coachings for it for preparation. Recommended colleges are NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy, IIFT and much more.
