Hi,
After completing the fashion design course, there are many avenues and opportunities. You can opt for a career in :
-export house
-textile mill
-manufacturing and processing company that produces clothing, soft furnishings and other textiles-based products
-several large fashion and clothing retailers
-design studios and consultancies
-handloom cooperatives and buying agencies
You may even work as freelancer. And with good experience and contacts, you can eventually open your own business.
As far as salary is concerned, it depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.

After completing diploma in fashion design (3 years), it would be advisable to opt for lateral entry B.Sc course.
To be eligible for B.Sc fashion design (lateral entry) :
You need to pass Diploma Fashion (3 years after 10th) or (1/2 years after 12th) equivalent with 50% aggregate marks.
