Based on your educational background and career goals, you may choose to study Fashion Marketing, Design Studies, Fashion Design and Society among other areas.

Both subjects and careers in these ptofessipnd are quite different from each other. In India both fashion designing and law have ample opportunities. You should choose subject based on your interest. If you have analytical thinking skills you can opt for law. If you have creative thinking skills opt for fashion designing.

Fashion marketing is nothing but merchandising. I would suggest that you take up fashion designing as a course because fashion marketing is one of the aspects of fashion designing.
You may take up fashion technology to meet your requirements as a fashion designer.
