Hi Ravi,
The difference between PG and PG Diploma in fashion design is as follows:
-The duration of the diploma would range between 1-2 years whereas the duration of the degree is at least 2 years
-The details of the syllabus differ as in the diploma basics would be shared with less no. of practicals whereas the PG would offer more detailed information and also more practical exposure,k this could also include internships.

Most colleges have a different provision for admission based on course offered, duration, study module etc. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

Yes, Sketching is one important aspect, However more important are CREATIVITY and IMAGINATION as sketching skills can be improved with time. If you use these , you can put out useful and good ideas with the help of a good sketch. You need to focus on the current requirements and demands of the fashion industry. Yes there is.Although this is a rarely opted option hence there are very few institutes offering such a combination.
Both fashion & interior design require equal attention & efforts , making it a challenging course to pursue.
Some institutes offering the course are:
-INIFD, Hyderabad
-GD Goenka school of Design etc

Fashion Designing :
As we all knows that people are becoming more and more conscious about their clothing and looks due to which the scope is increasing continuously and more and more opportunities are availed in the fashion market .

According to me the scope in both the fields is huge as one forms the backbone of the other, without cloth the final dress will never shape up and without designing it wont sell in the market.
