If you wish to study at FSU as an international student, you must submit some mandatory documents mentioned below for a US Student Visa. You must also pay the US Student VISA application fee by the end of the process. Check the list below -
- Valid passport with validity date of at least six months beyond period of stay
- Copy of DS-160
- SEVIS Fee Receipt
- Offer letter
- Form I-20
- Visa fee payment confirmation receipt
- Bank statement
- Original mark
- Exam score cards as required like IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT or GRE

As an international students you can apply to FSU only in two timelines which are regular decision which includes both domestic and international students into consideration and Rolling decision which also includes all the students. Regular decisions generally are on a deadlin of Dec 1 and Rolling decision deadline is generally on Mar 1. Though you should always double check all the deadline as per your choice of course from the official website.

A GRE score is not required for Florida State University MSc in Data Science course. Other FSU admissions requirements for this course are:
- UG degree
- Applicants must have minimal background of Calculus 2, Introductory Statistics, and experience with an object oriented programming language, preferably Python or R.
- Coursework in Linear Algebra is desirable but not mandatory
- GPA of 3.0 is required in last 60 hours of UG credits
- 3 LOR professional and academic
