Florida State is the largest university in USA to have experiential learning graduation equipment for UG students and offer various scholarships for international students. FSU offers some popular majors such as MS in Computer Science, MSc in Data Science, and MS in Business Analytics. The University offers an acceptance rate of 25%,  making admissions to the university competitive and selective

Florida State University cost for Non-Florida Residents for MBA course is USD 45,791 for the 2025-26 academic year. Besides the tuition fees, students are also required to pay for living expenses in a single year. These expenses will be of insurance, hostel & meals, books & supplies, transportation, etc. The cost of living for FSU will be above INR 20 lakh.

Yes,  if you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you do need a visa to study at FSU (Florida State University).

If you wish to study at FSU as an international student, you must submit some mandatory documents mentioned below for a US Student Visa. You must also pay the US Student VISA application fee by the end of the process. Check the list below -

  • Valid passport with validity date of at least six months beyond period of stay
  • Copy of DS-160
  • SEVIS Fee Receipt
  • Offer letter
  • Form I-20
  • Visa fee payment confirmation receipt
  • Bank statement 
  • Original mark
  • Exam score cards as required like IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT or GRE
  • Financial Documents are required to show financial strength to support education in the USA

A GRE score is not required for Florida State University MSc in Data Science course. Other FSU admissions requirements for this course are: 

  • UG degree 
  • Applicants must have minimal background of Calculus 2, Introductory Statistics, and experience with an object oriented programming language, preferably Python or R.
  • Coursework in Linear Algebra is desirable but not mandatory
  • GPA of 3.0 is required in last 60 hours of UG credits
  • 3 LOR professional and academic
