BTech in Food Technology Colleges in Maharashtra grant admission to only those candidates who fulfill certain criteria. The eligibility criteria for admission at all colleges are almost the same. Candidates can check below the prescribed eligibility criteria:
- Students who want to enroll in BTech in Food Technology courses in colleges located in Maharashtra must have passed class 12 in Science subjects.
- Moreover, candidates should also appear in any of the entrance tests like MHT CET, JEE Main, ICAR AIEEA, and many others.

The eligibility criteria for PhD course at MIT School of Food Technology is that candidate should have Master’s Degree in Food Science / Food Technology with prerequisite of four years B.Tech./ Equivalent degree programme, with minimum of 70% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 10 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
