To get admission in MIT School of Food Technology, students must meet the eligibility. The eligibility of BTech is to pass Class 12 with Physics /Mathematics /Chemistry /Computer with 45%. For MTech, students must have a graduation degree in BTech with 50%. Students can apply online for admission in preferred courses.

NO — you are NOT eligible for lateral entry (direct 2nd year) in ICT Mumbai.
ICT Mumbai does NOT offer lateral entry admission into B.Tech programs (including Food Engineering).
Even if you have a Diploma in Food Technology (like from Parul University), you cannot directly join 2nd year B.Tech there.
Admission is only through:
JEE Main
or MHT CET
You must apply for first-year B.Tech, not lateral entry.

School Of Food Technology JNTU, Kakinada BTech eligibility requires students to complete Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Students need to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Eligible students can apply online.

Food Technology Colleges in Hyderabad grant admission to only those candidates who fulfil certain criteria. The eligibility criteria for admission at all colleges are almost the same. Candidates can check below the prescribed eligibility criteria:
- Students who want to enroll in Food Technology courses in Hyderabad colleges must have passed class 12 in Science subjects with a minimum aggregate of 55% - 60%.
- Moreover, candidates should also appear in any of the entrance tests like TS EAMCET, GATE, ICAR AIEEA, etc.

The eligibility criteria for PhD course at MIT School of Food Technology is that candidate should have Master’s Degree in Food Science / Food Technology with prerequisite of four years B.Tech./ Equivalent degree programme, with minimum of 70% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 10 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
