Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT) and Saraswati College of Engineering (SCOE) both offer good placement opportunities, with FCRIT generally having slightly better placement rates and higher salary packages, especially in specific branches like Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. SCOE also sees good placement with a decent number of companies participating in the recruitment drive.

Founded in 1994 and connected to the University of Mumbai, the Fr. C Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT) is well-known for its engineering programs Among Indian engineering institutes FCRIT came in at number 104 in the India Today 2024 rankings, Although this indicates a solid national position Mumbai is home to a number of engineering schools with higher rankings, including Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). As a result even though FCRIT is a respectable option in Mumbai's engineering education market it might not be the finest in the entire city.
