The counselling procedure of TS PGECET 2018 involves following steps:
Step 1 Payment of processing fee: To be able to participate in the TS PGECET 2018 counselling, candidates will have to first register for it and pay the processing fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates).
Step 2 Document Verification: After registration, candidates will have to get the necessary documents verified at the help line centers.
Procedure for TS PGECET document verification:
Candidates will be called for registration of counselling as per their TS PGECET 2018 ranks. They will be required to pay the processing fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates) and get their documents verified. Candidates will have to be present at the helpline centers as per the notified time and date with all the required documents and fee.
Note: Candidates will have to show their original certificates at the time of verification of certificates and also have to carry photocopies of the certificates to be submitted. Candidates will also be required to furnish a valid mobile number at the time of document verification, as they were sent One Time Password (OTP) for web option entry on the mobile number. After certificate verification, the candidates will be given a receipt from the counter. Candidates should not forget to collect this receipt. While collecting the receipt, the candidates had to cross-check all details on it like mobile number, local area, gender, caste category, minority, parental income, date of birth, special category, eligible degree, specialisation, etc. If they find any discrepancy in the receipt, they had to bring it to the notice of Camp Officer/Co-coordinator immediately for rectification, as seat allotment will depend on the accuracy of this data.
Step 3: Filling of choices-
Once the document verification is done, candidates will be required to fill their choice of colleges and courses. These choices have to be filled very carefully.
