Goa University BSc admission is entirely merit-based for the year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc at Goa University are selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying examinations. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with the respective subjects from a recognised Board can apply for admission.

Goa University offers M.Ch. in Neuro Surgery at the super speciality level in the Medical field. The university accepts NEET SS scores followed by NEET SS Counselling for admission to the said course. Goa University cutoff for M.Ch. in Neuro Surgery closed at 1514 after Round 1 Seat Allotment results for General category All India candidates. NEET SS Counselling 2023 closed after the release of Round 2 Seat Allotment results. Tabulated below are the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for Goa University cutoff 2023:

Goa University cutoff for various MD and MS courses is based on NEET PG scores followed by the NEET PG Counselling. As per the NEET PG Round 2 cutoff, the closing rank for MS courses fell between 5970 and 11509 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Among all the MS specialsilations, the most competitive one was Obstetrics & Gynecology, followed by General Surgery. Refer to the table below to view the NEET PG round-wise cutoff ranks for all the MS programmes:

Goa University MBBS cutoff 2025 was released for admission in the form of opening and closing ranks for all rounds and categories under the All India quota.
For the General AI, the last round cutoff was 23562. On the other hand, for the OBC AI category, the cutoff was 16989. Students can refer to the table below to know the first and last round cutoff for all categories.

Goa University offers two-year MA programme divided into four semesters. MA is available in various specialisations, namely Economics, English, Environmental Science, Hindi, etc. Aspirants who have completed any of the UG degree can apply for MA. Admission to MA programme of Goa University is based on GU-ART conducted by the university. Selected candidates need to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Goa University offers various UG, PG and doctoral-level courses at campur or through affiliated colleges. The university offers UG courses such as BA, BBA, BSc, etc., while all the PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MCom, MCA, etc., are taught through various schools and departments at the university and affiliated colleges. Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes. Further, Goa University also has nine recognised institutes that offer research programmes leading to PhD degrees.

Candidates need to apply online on the official website of Goa University for UG and PG programmes. The university shortlists candidates for PG programmes based on GU-ART conducted by the university. For MBA admission, the university accepts CMAT/ ATMA scores. For UG courses, the selection is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates might need to come for personal interview round for some of the courses. The university releases its merit lists of the selected candidates for various courses. Shortlisted aspirants need to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.
