You must have cleared class 10th with minimum 35% marks and must have also passed Mathematics and Science subjects. The admission is through Centralized Admission Process of Maharashtra based on marks obtained in 10th class. Interested candidates can directly apply to the college. Before applying for the course, please check the eligibility requirement as below:
Candidate must have passed Diploma/ Graduation from a recognized board/ college/ university.
Or,
Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and must have 2 years of working experience.
Or,
Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks in Fire and Safety 6 months course (only for students studying under Continuing Education Program of Government Polytechnic, Mumbai).

Gulf or foreign companies rarely comes in a polytechnic college, they mostly visit the top IITs, NITs etc. or some other top private engineering colleges.

The main difference between IOSH and NEBOSH is that IOSH is also a membership organization, the largest health and safety professional membership organization, as it goes. The main difference for you though will be in the qualifications, and you should find the qualification that suits your needs most, which won't really come down to the awarding body. NEBOSH doesn't offer membership, so if you are looking to join a membership organization where you can network, keep up to date with health and safety, and gain advice and expertise then IOSH is probably your best option. It brings with it plenty of benefits but how much you can benefit
