There are different ways of calculating GPAs for admissions or for applying for jobs abroad. The Indian applicants can use a GPA calculator or calculate GPA using their percentage marks or grades. To study at SUNY Oswego, international applicants are required the minimum specified GPA for admission. For admissions to the UG courses, the applicants must have completed high school qualification. To take admission to graduate courses, the applicants should have a Bachelor's degree. Additionally, an English language proficiency score must also be submitted.

According to the official class profile of 2027, the expected GPAs from international students vary by department. For students pursuing Arts and Science, they must aim between 3.56 and 3.88, whereas students of the School of Business must score between 3.6 and 3.89. To get into Northeastern Illinois University, international applicants are required to meet the minimum GPA requirements. A 2.5 GPA is required for admission to Undergraduate courses. On the other hand, for admission to PG courses, the applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree and a GPA of 2.75 or higher is required.

According to the class profile of the University of Delaware 2024, a GPA between 3.65 and 4.22 is acceptable for successful admission. However, the range provided by the official is lower than expected due to high competition. Students must perform well academically throughout their schooling and college to improve their selection chances. Also, they must work on some relevant extracurricular activities to showcase during admission.
