Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2025 ( GPAT )

By checking the GPAT 2025 question paper and answer key, applicants can calculate their score in the exam. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) exam was conducted on May 25, 2025. The memory-based GPAT 2025 questions are mentioned on the page below. After the conclusion of the exam, the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBMES) releases the GPAT 2025 question paper and answer key/response sheet on the official NBE-GPAT website at natboard.edu.in.

By analysing the GPAT previous year question papers, students can make their strategy to qualify for the exam. By solving the previous year's question papers of GPAT, applicants can understand the nature & trend of the questions that are generally asked in the exam. Students can also get to know which sections have the maximum questions in the exam by practicing from the GPAT previous year sample papers. Students must note that questions were prepared from the GPAT syllabus 2025; hence, one must prepare the syllabus thoroughly to qualify for the exam.

Candidates can predict their score accordingly by using the question paper of GPAT 2025 and the answer key or the response sheet. The GPAT question paper can be accessed by logging in to the official account by using the GPAT application number and the password, or the application number and the respective date of birth. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) qualifiers are eligible to apply for admission in more than 800 participating MPharma institutes.

GPAT exam is generally conducted in two shifts. NBEMS normally releases the GPAT question papers as per the shift in which the candidate attempted the question paper. The GPAT question paper is released online for the candidates. They can access it using their personal login details. It helps them to analyse their performance and find out if any question is marked incorrectly.

NBEMS, the exam organising committee, is responsible for designing GPAT question papers for the candidates. The questions are sent in by different subject matter experts, and NBEMS selects the questions for the examination. No single person is responsible for setting the question paper.

GPAT 2025 Answer Key/Response Sheet - Details to Check

NBE holds the responsibility to publish the GPAT answer key or the response sheet. Candidates can check the list of details present on the GPAT 2025 answer key or the response sheet:

  • Candidate’s application number
  • Candidate’s Roll number
  • Name of the candidate
  • Exam date
  • Time of exam
  • Number of questions attempted and the total number of questions
  • Options chosen and the correct options
  • Question ID
  • Response IDs of all the four options
  • Qualifying status

Q:   Who releases the GPAT question paper?
A: 

The NBEMS is the sole authority responsible to release the GPAT question papers and answers after the successful completion of exam. Earlier NTA was the body responsible to conduct the exam. Students are advised to check the GPAT question paper with answers PDF to increase their chances of qualifying the exam. 

Q:   Are candidates allowed to carry the GPAT question papers outside the exam hall?
A: 

No, candidates are not allowed to carry GPAT question paper outside the hall because the exam is conducted in online mode. There is no physical distribution of the GPAT question paper. However, after the completion of the GPAT exam, NTA GPAT question paper and answer PDF will be released at the official website.

Q:   Is it useful to solve the previous years' GPAT question papers?
A: 

Solving GPAT previous year question papers is important for the exam preparation. Students are advised to solve GPAT mock test in a proctored manner, i.e. within the stipulated timing and duration and at one go, without any breaks. A thorough practice of the GPAT question papers will help in understanding the question paper pattern. In turn this will build familarity towards the questions expected in the exam.

GPAT 2025 Question Paper Pattern

As per the exam pattern shared by NBEMS in the official notification og GPAT exam, candidates get 180 minutes (3 hours) to solve GPAT question paper comprising of 125 questions. The nature of questions asked in the GPAT exam will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Yes, students can get scholarship based on their GPAT score under Pradhan Mantri Scholarship for Pharmacy Post Graduate Studies offered by PCI. The scholarship is offered to MPharm student who have qualified GPAT. A scholarship of INR 12,400 per month is offered to selected students for 24 months.
